You can't solve scalping when its a core function of LiveNation's ecosystem. Scalping is the business model.

True. True. But to be fair, the old one wasn’t fit for purpose either. Lovely science, but still couldn’t do anything about it.

it’d be nice to have some idea of where might be a good place to move to, if this is as inevitable as it sounds. Not as nice as you think. You could dodge harsher winters, an energy crunch and crop failures, just to move to somewhere with heatstress, drought and cropfailures. We must not view climate as the thing to watch. It’s one part of a larger complex system of systems. Changes in the AMOC can trigger changes elsewhere, and more importantly, elsewhere is changing on its own too. Not just because of emissions. It’s a lot to digest, especially if you don’t have a background in ecology, biology, environmental sciences or systems theory. But a solid easy framework is planetary boundaries. It’s all 9 boundaries together (plus any new ones discovered) that’s going to pickle us. We are exceeding 7 of the 9 identified so far and there are and will be severe consequences for having exceeded our planet’s limits. I worry about climate change A LOT. I worry about Ecological Overshoot and Collapse due to Planetary Boundaries even more.

Which is hillarious because I’ve been kicked out of Karaoke bars for laughing too hard at my own rendition of Islands in the stream by Dolly Parton with my drunk buddy as Kenny Rogers. It was magical and hillarious. Karaoke bars are often polluted with a pestillence of people who think they are undiscovered musical geniuses who are minutes away from being discovered by a record label executive trolling the depths of karaoke shitholes looking for the next great pop-star. Anything that fucks with their discoverability makes them go coocoo.

Not really. Ground meats with shit in them with casings (sausage) will cook roughly the same as other ground meats with shit in them without casings. (Patties) Very similar.

Poll: Anyone ever have hipsters in their highschool go through a bowling shoe phase? Upvote = yes Downvote = no Edit: By early poling numbers, I can’t tell if it was only a thing in my highschool, or if people who wear bowling shoes casually, yet ironically or even post-ironically, just haven’t come to terms with the fact that they are indeed hipsters.

Hey. This is a shitpost. That was a dark humour joke. Don't look at me like I'm the weirdo here. Context matters Monsieur or Madamme LeBuzzkill. Edit: For the record, I upvoted your comment because in true shitpost fashion, the fight after a shitpost is half the fun, and speaks to the very heart of shitposting. You played your role well. Touché pussycat.

Looks like someone doesn’t understand “The Gummy”. It’s why abusive husbands punch out teeth and why you can never really age out of prostitution. While your prime earning years may be behind you, you can alway put a roof over your head and food on the table with good gummy. Make sure you get a good denturist.

Edit: Tough crowd. Dark humour isn’t easy.

Edit 2: Update with technical reference.

Edit 3: References. I swear I once saw a daytime talkshow like Phil Donahue, Geraldo Rivera or Maury Povich that was along the lines of “My teenaged daughter had her teeth removed on purpose to better please her new husband and I helped her do it.” I just can find the reference.

Edit 4: Now illustrated.

TL/DR - yes. Hell yes even. What is art or what is good art? One of my fav definitions of art is "that which was created with the primary intention of invoking an emotional response in the observing subject. Some would say art which provokes positive or negative emotions is good art, even if it was intended to be only positive. The more powerful the emotional response the better the art. So the Brandenburg Concertos are potentially on the same level of art as say Tiny Tims Tiptoe Through the Tulips, or Rebecca Black's Friday. As music they are all galaxies apart, but as art. Strong emotions all. Other would say good art provokes strong intended emotions. Like a performance piece about domestic violence is supposed to make you feel strong anger and revulsion. To these same "intentionists" if you found the same piece triggers a dark humour reponse and you lol, it's bad art because it didn't demonstrate mastery of emotional provocation. Closer to home, it means Shitposts are art. We are all artists here. Some masters, some aspiring. I could go on, but why.

At first I was gonna say, maybe morality isn't subjective. Maybe its just our perception of morality that is, and that as an intelligence constrained by our meat, the subjectivity is just a naturally occuring conceptual filter construct that creates the illusion of subjectivity. Then I realized, I should have just said "yeah". With apologies to Mitch Hedberg.

The demand is insatiable, and unmet. Price based demand destruction is only part what were seeing here. Whatever can be made will be sold. We can’t supply enough to meet demand so we ration by price. It’s not the victory you probably hope for.
