In our newest blogpost we reflect on a virtual discussion, in which we presented and discussed a catalogue of requirements for an information infrastructure for the long-term accessibility of scholarly blogs.

Check out the post here: https://doi.org/10.59350/dj4k1-r9c95'

The catalogue of requirements can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ckTCisliAciC574pf7kkl1RiTVMMCdN_0wkkluJcofo/edit?usp=sharing

We are looking forward to comments and feedback until february, 27th.

Scholarly blogs are often ad-hoc and temporary projects that suffer from poor digital preservation efforts. Drawing on a new survey of the German scholarly blogosphere, @pampel@openbiblio.social and I found a fragile blogging ecosystem and argue for renewed focus on preserving this form of scholarly communication.
