Scholarly blogs are often ad-hoc and temporary projects that suffer from poor digital preservation efforts. Drawing on a new survey of the German scholarly blogosphere, @pampel@openbiblio.social and I found a fragile blogging ecosystem and argue for renewed focus on preserving this form of scholarly communication.
