I am very proud to announce I now have 50 different prints available on my website for purchase. They’re all limited edition, signed, and numbered 11x17” prints I actually print out at home on my own 8-color printer one by one.

Each comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, which I duplicate and sign literally on the back of each print so it’s always there.

I ship them in rigid flat mailers with chipboard inserts to prevent folding.

When I’ve printed thirty each at this scale, I won’t be printing any more of them at this size. I’ll still have them as greeting cards and maybe some smaller versions, but never this large again.

I think the 11x17" scale really shows off the texture and detail I work hard to achieve. I think the pieces I make look best at this size.

I’ll be adding more as I go along—I have so many pieces!! But I’m proud to offer these already. It has been a dream of mine to be able to do this for a long time. I think this is where my heart sings—what I’ve wanted to do since I decided to take the reins of my life and do the whole art thing a few years ago.

I will not use AI to tell me who my audience is.

I will not use AI in any aspect of my life if I can avoid it. (And I am going out of my way to avoid it as much as I can.)

Every inquiry costs a bottle of water in server cooling costs.

I don’t care how much you think it’s helping you, if you’re too lazy to literally think for yourself like every human being has done before 2020, you’re not worth my time.

If you actually think your pocketbook is worth ruining my future, you’re not worth my time.

You post an AI image? You’re blocked. I find out you use AI to write for you? You’re blocked. You use AI to “summarize” crap for you? I can summarize my response: get lost.

I’m a proud Luddite who refuses to defer my intelligence away to corpo bros any more then I have to. And if you’re one of those who thinks “It’s inevitable” then I really don’t need you in my life.

I got asked to put my work up in a local coffee & bagel shop, Frankie’s NY Bagels. It’s a very queer and family friendly space that gets over 1000 patrons every week. Big interior with lots of wall area. Last year they sold over 470 pieces of art. I’ll be getting a 12’x12’ segment, and my stuff will be up for six months over the summer! I’m so excited!! It’s a big opportunity for me.

I had to find a new storefront option because the platform I’d been using decided to fold, and I wanted to bring “everything Corey” under one roof anyway. So now I’m doing it for myself.

I needed to use Shopify because of the various back-end integrations. And my husband uses it every day for his day job, so leaning on him has been incredibly helpful.

Together we got this done in a week and a half. Not all the almost 300 listings are finished, and I have still even more to put up, but we decided to push the button.

For the first time, I’ve started to offer my limited edition signed and numbered prints, so that’s a huge step forward.

And I can integrate my wholesale offerings, too, keeping track of my inventory all in one spot. And my POS stuff. Soon I’ll be able to do barcode stickers on all my stuff to assist in checkout at fairs and festivals and actually track what I’m selling across all the venues and platforms.

I needed this to grow. I’m really excited about it!

But I’m *NOT* hopping on their Shop App, which just sucks everything posted on it into a gen-AI agentic assistance black hole pit. My shop is my own.

Oy, I’m tired. More work to do, but I’m happy thus far. Whew!

Wow, I’ve had my head buried in my computer, working for the last four days trying to get a new storefront/website/creative home set up for myself. I come up for air tonight and see that the world is still on fire, so I haven’t missed much.

I think the solution is to go make some more art, actively working to counteract all the bad in my own little way.

Yeah. And a big adult beverage.

I do all my work by hand in Procreate on my iPad Pro. This image took 4074 strokes of my Apple Pencil, and 2 hrs 52 min to complete. #Humanmade

I would offer the link to my storefront to buy it as a greeting card in the US, but that platform is shutting down. I will be consolidating my storefront and my website into a single entity this coming weekend, Feb 28-29, 2026. More to come on that.

Well. My online storefront platform, Goimagine, officially announced today that it is folding. It will cease on March 23rd.

I really believed in that platform. I thought it was ethically solid.

But they blamed a lack of sellers. At their peak, they had 7200 paid sellers, and apparently needed 12K to make it viable to continue.

What they didn’t address is why they didn’t grow beyond that, and that’s where the real problem was. So it wasn’t lack of users. It was a lack of capacity to implement fixes, features, integrations, and investors. It wasn’t that there weren’t enough people using it. It was that there was not enough management to keep them there and get more.

So.

I think I’m going to have to shift over to Shopify. My hubby works with it daily at two vastly different levels of scale, and knows it very well. So that’s an advantage.

He ensures me that the AI features are opt-in. I’d love to believe him, but I think he may be a bit… biased… hehe…

Any artists/craftsmen have issues with turning off and opting-out of AI with Shopify?

Right now, I’m using Square for my POS tool. I hear Shopify has options for that, too, but they’re pricey. Hm.

I went to the Redwood Art Association today to pick up my two pieces I’d submitted for this last month’s show.

I got there, and one of them had sold.

I was floored. This is the fourth time I’ve sold a piece through that member-run gallery. Each time I have to pinch myself to remind me that it’s real, that something that came from my heart and my hand actually connected with someone so much that they bought my work.

It’s a heady, thrilling, validating experience. It ensures me that I’m on the right path.

I wrote a new blog post on my latest endeavors in traditional art journey. I’m primarily a digital artist, but I did plenty of traditional art in the past—mostly watercolor with gouache and ink elements—but my new experiments are entirely new and different for me!

The platform I use for my art storefront where I sell my greeting cards and other handmade items may be falling apart.

I am not interested in a print-on-demand fulfillment platform like iNprnt or Fine Art America.

I am hesitant to embrace Shopfiy, as it doesn’t seem to have a solid “opt-out” when it comes to AI. And Etsy is drowning in hidden fees trying to become the next Amazon.

I sell greeting cards, prints, and other items that I want to print, package, and ship myself.

Any suggestions?

I finished this piece on my livestream earlier this week. It's a Night Heron.

It was suggested to me as a subject by a patron to my booth this last year. They're pretty common here in the area I live because there's a lot of marshes and we're along the Redwood Coast in northern California.

I'd never heard of Night Herons before. In my head, they were creep and scary. But when I finally saw a picture of one, they were the cutest little hunched over things I'd seen! They reminded me of plushie toys for some reason. So cute!

So here in my Night Heron in phone wallpaper form. I do all my work in Procreate on my iPad Pro, and this piece took 3868 strokes of my Apple pencil and 2hr34min to make.
