There is however a perk for each sex that does 10% damage to the opposite sex, so if you pick that at the start of the game and change sex when you leave Goodsprings you can then choose both perks and do 10% more damage to all mobs in the game, making your character canonically trans.

You can turn it around nowadays on something like Craigslist or FB marketplace. It will easily sell for 150 quid. Some of the plex shares will be happy to be it off you because their accounts get constantly nuked.
