Last night I had a dream about a movie where part of the premise was ripped off of the wikipedia article and whatnot about Con Air starring Nic Cage (I was aware of this in the dream itself), i.e. a white guy kills a fellow American in self-defense and gets sent to jail because he is or was a member of the US military who is too good at killing (Con Air takes place in a much better world than ours, apparently, but I digress).
In the dream, he got hazed by a bunch of other prisoners who tried to gang up on him and beat him up, but he kept just singlehandedly knocking out all of them. A particularly tough group showed up, and in this breathy growly threatening voice, he said, "What will you do if you take me to the bathroom, and I shit myself tomorrow?" and I started laughing so hard I woke up, which did not help my sleep situation,

I'm afraid that when I watched Gundam 79, I couldn't take Sayla seriously at Ryu's funeral because she had the exact expression from the "I'm not calling you 'good boy'" meme.

OK, so:
- If Paramount ever decides to adapt Sonic 2006, they'll undoubtedly cut out Princess Elise. Yeah, she deserves better than that, but she's a controversial enough character among the fandom that they'll probably just do without entirely.
- One of the reasons for this controversy is the fact that she kisses Sonic to revive him after he gets killed by the game's central antagonist, Mephiles the Dark.
- Sonic "dying" is an iconic enough moment that it'd be basically mandatory.
- In Sonic 2006, Princess Elise is the unwilling host of the Flames of Disaster, which have apocalyptic implications and contain part of the entity which serves as the final boss.
- In the Paramount continuity, Knuckles has "the Flames of Disaster" as an ability which he can just do.
Therefore, if Paramount does a Sonic 2006 adaptation, Knuckles will take on Elise's role of being the unwilling host, which means that he will be the one to kiss Sonic,

I mean I love HLVRAI as a whole, and I know that "strange and terrible things happen to me" are part of wayneradiotv's whole shtick, but like. The first HLVRAI had Coomer and Tommy being relatively friendly towards him, but like in HL2VRAI it feels like it's the entire team is being jerks to him for no reason, or for reasons which contradict what the audience knows and/or are otherwise just unreasonable, and tbh I personaly just find it exhausting at times.

The implication that Ragnar could've met Vindra again by just making his castle hover about twice as high, or whatever. Admittedly, if Vindra and Ragnar ended up in the same room together, I can't see that conversation going even slightly different from how Beebz's meeting with her went ("What do you mean you just left our daughter in Forktown!?" "You haven't changed at all, you just want to tie me down!!"), but the important thing is, it would've happened!
Second funniest is that it spends the whole game building Vindra up as this mythic figure, and then you actually meet her, and she's like that. Like after meeting Vindra, I'm completely sold on Beebz's backstory.
Third funniest: my realization a day or two later that the dialogue carefully avoids having Ragnar or Roc ever address Beebz by name because for the entire game, they only knew her as "Gale".

Valve should make "Half-Life Azian" where you play as Alyx's mom in Black Mesa during Half-Life 1, ending with her doing some sort of heroic self-sacrifice to give Eli time to escape with Alyx or something. And they should make it in the Half-Life 1 engine.
