Google TV is an operating system which other manufacturers like Sony and TCL preinstall. I think its the best option because it has a basic TV mode which lets you use the TV with just the antenna and HDMI ports, and if you do decide to use the smart TV features, you can use apps only mode to disable the home screen ads as well as sideload apps.

By "require" I mean it should by required by law, or at least an ESRB-style self policing organisation. It should be standard like watermarking on radio stations.

Do you mean Anubis? That uses POW which wastes time and CPU, however it does essentially nothing to stop bots, it just makes them slower. You need to detect the fingerprints of things like Selenium and Multilogin as well as the fingerprint of the whole browser or device to truly stop them.

Passkeys and hardware attestation are also good as they require a fingerprint or face and bare metal hardware instead of a VM, but Spez also wants to introduce things like the Worldcoin Orb and IDs as well which are too invasive IMO.

There is a bot problem but ID checks are invasive, and you can stop the bots with things like Hcaptcha Passive and Turnstile which use POW to waste the CPU cycles of bots and look for signs of things like Selenium and Puppeteer controlling the browser.

Use Librewolf with a mobile data connection on a PAYG SIM, then Go to Settings > Librewolf, then turn off IPV6 to ensure you are behind CGNAT and turn off resistFingerprinting Then install Jshelter and create a profile with the following settings: Time precision: High Locally rendered images: Little lies Locally generated audio: Little lies Graphic card information: Unprotected for highest chance of success or Little lies for best privacy WebAssembley speed-up: enabled Then make sure that all other options in Jshelter are turned off including Fingerprint Detector as Cloudflare Turnstile ls with it on.

I haven’t found any issues with it. The problem with making their own is that the MS Office file formats are purposefully poorly documented with the spec being over 6000 pages long and MS Office itself not adhering to it. It would be best to start with something where most of the work is done for them.
