It's okay if you're struggling to write this scene. Try moving on to another part of the story.

I believe even small businesses like freelance editorial service providers can benefit from using software and websites that buck the trend of being based in America and actually do good in this world.
Here's a quick list of recommendations, all based in Europe and bringing revenue to more local people. That means they also have to be GDPR compliant.

Sending positive vibes and well wishes to all of the writers, readers, editorial professionals, book designers, cover artists, and publishing professionals with disabilities today.
Writing and publishing is hard enough as it is without also factoring in disabilities. There are so many extra barriers, no matter whether you're physically disabled, fatigued, or otherwise disabled.
I know so many writers whose disabilities both motivate their writing and also interrupt and prevent their writing.

I spent the week answering questions for Trans Awareness Week on LinkedIn, so here's some highlights from 6 questions asked by cis people about my experience and views as a non-binary person.
Let's start with a call to action.
I'd like you to share one post on social media from a trans or non-binary person. Something positive, insightful, or helpful.
I want you to spread the word that trans and non-binary people exist by sharing our words with the people we can't always reach.
I need you to make social media a kinder place for everyone, regardless of gender, by encouraging empathy and inclusion.
You just need to find one trans or non-binary person and a post that resonates with you. Share it with or without comment. Boost one person's voice. It can be on any social media platform you like. Just share one post.
Thank you for reading, and thank you even more for acting.
