The olympics. I still hadn’t cared for the olympics in quite a while, and I find that its last spark of relevance has faded back in the 90s/early 2000s. It has become politicized and commercialized, where there’s little to no sense in getting that interested in them. It’s also about just circlejerking for whichever country won the most medals, which ultimately doesn’t matter compare to if we can respect a country that doesn’t contribute to anymore shit that others do overall. Also it’s no surprise some of or most of the people attending are probably doped up too, so who cares about authenticity?

My favorite time of the year is always about the mid to later half of the year. Starting in July all the way to December. I don’t really care for the early half. Filing taxes, boring and annoying. Forgettable holidays that have become too corporatized like Easter and too stereotyped like St.Patrick’s Day. Devoting entire months to minorities (which in my opinion, we don’t need anymore when everyday should be for learning to always respect diversity and the history behind it.) I just don’t care at all for the entire first half of the year.

AI can’t be all that bad. The problem I’m always seeing with AI is a double-edged sword. You have corporations shoving AI in just about everything, treating it like its a cure for cancer and that really rubs people the wrong way. Then, on a more of a society level, you’ve got people who use AI for an assortment of things like making art with AI and still accredit themselves as an artist to people who treat AI like a therapist when it is not advised to. However, I’ve found some benefits with AI. For example, I’m chatting with ChatGPT on credit cards, because it is something I may lean towards getting into. It’s helping me better understand than most people have tried explaining to me. Simply because it is giving me a more stream-lined response than people just beating the bush.
