I'm looking for a data sheet for a very old RAM chip with the serial number CO20231-01. The Internet has failed me so far.

Can anyone in #electronics suggest a good place to ask?

Playing #KCD2 I'm genuinely shocked at the consequence of turning down one of the missions. I was not expecting that at all.

LLMs are spam generators. That is all. They're designed to generate plausibly human-like text well enough to pass a generic Turing Test. That's why people believe they're "intelligent". But really, al

@cstross@wandering.shop My favourite description was from a lecture given by Rob Pike. He said something like, "LLMs consume Internet in order to produce more Internet".

v0.7.3 of Test7800 my Atari7800 emulator (I really need a new name. It's progressed further than I expected when I started the project)

Introduced a very annoying bug in a single commit. I've been staring at it for several hours and can't see what the problem is

I thought I'd give Claude (via the Github interface) a go, because people seem to enjoy it and report success with it

My prompt gives two commit IDs and I asked Claude to analyse the differences to see why the bug may have occurred (I included some details of the bug)

Claude responded that it doesn't have the commit diffs available to inspect

Complete waste of time.
