To be fair, I use LLMs quite a bit in my home lab setup. For one, it’s a home lab, not exactly . Secondly, I obviously also don’t run commands without knowing what they’re doing, with a source that isn’t an LLM.

And because you type like that. I will say it’s weird to actively not like Linux. It’s OK to think it isn’t for your daily driver PC, but disliking it is weird. It’s undeniably useful as a server OS, and you yourself probably interact with it frequently, even if you don’t know it.

The main differences I can think of are: Better video quality More normalized Easier to get your hands on They look like raybans and are brand name They’re debatibly “cool” Basically they produce better video and are more normalized in society.

Watching Technology Connections recent final (probably not final) video on dishwashers made me really want an open source dishwasher where you can program your own cycles. Maybe over the next few years hacking appliances will become common, doing what Valetudo has done for robot vacuums.
