@chrisstoecker Der Angriff auf den Pluralismus im letzten Punkt ist markant. Das Gegenteil von Pluralismus ist Totalitarismus und Führerprinzip. Das ist das unbestreitbare Ziel dieses Konzepts.

Noch während Tagesschau.de Trumps #Epstein-Glückwünsche als "angeblich" verunklart, verschleiert sie, was der angebliche Gruß denn eigentlich zu bedeuten habe. Das ist nicht nur "eine weitere Verbindung zwischen dem verstorbenen Sexualstraftäter und Trump" (d.h. dem lebenden Sexualstraftäter), sondern -wenn echt- ein Beweismittel für Trumps Beteiligung an Epsteins Unternehmung zur sexuellen Ausbeutung von Mädchen - nicht "die Umrisse eines Frauenkörpers mit Brüsten".

@algernon That's Immanuel Kant's principle of publicity. He's more like: If people knew what you did would make your doing obsolete or destroy the thing you aimed to achieve in doing, you shouldn't do it in the first place, as far as public laws are concerned. But in principle it's the same.

Die UN haben eine Pressemitteilung herausgegeben, Nachrichtenagenturen (mindestens Reuters, epd, kna) haben sie verbreitet. Eine Web-Suche zeigt, dass das die meisten Massenmedien nicht interessiert. Nur DLF, RP, StZ, JA haben die Meldung verbreitet.
Gibt es hier jemanden, der außerhalb von Mastodon von der Experten-Einordnung als Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit erfahren hat?

@leftwinghedonist Nein. Gerichte entscheiden in jedem Einzelfall, ob sie etwas als Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit verfolgen. Diese Experteneinschätzung besagt lediglich, dass die juristischen Kriterien erfüllt sind.

@theplaguedoc @vagina_museum Well, the empirical method was not around in Europe for over thousand years, so the books of ancient authorities were the most reliable kind of knowledge available. The model for knowing things itself was taken from the gospel. Empirical methods were preserved in the arab world, resulting in knowledge transfer from muslims to christians about that towards the late middle ages.

@klaremitte Hast Du schonmal beobachtet, wie in autoritären Systemen die Zulassung von Kandidaten zu Wahlen gehandhabt wird?
Die AfD jedenfalls würde sich sehr über diesen Vorschlag freuen. Sie muss nur einmal in die Regierung kommen, schon hat sie als Exekutive die Chance, viele andere von der Wahl auszuschließen.
