@baxaphobia@caneandable.social I suspect they will. For now, I am basically getting IV antibiotics around the clock. They are estimating I can go home Monday or Tuesday.

@ricky_enger@mindly.social The difference between how I felt 12 hours ago and how I feel now is kind of startling, in a good way. It was kind of scary, but I'm glad everything is getting cleared up.

@JamiePauls@caneandable.social Well, if you'd like to make a game of it, we could do that. My sister was concerned by my babbling, and wrote down some of the weirder stuff I said so that she would have it to show to the doctors. Among the things that topped the list were: apricots can't swim, and snickerdoodles don't fart. Go figure! I will never understand what was going on in my head at the time. She said I was talking very definitively, kind of like I was teaching a class. At one point, I was so weepy and incoherent, a nurse was trying to ask me about symptoms, and for two or three tries, all I could manage to say was, "I don't feel good. "
