hmmm a john wick game, feels very late for one, and the gameplay needs to be actually fucking good, like, given the series if they cut any corners it will be absolute dog shit lmao, so i atleast hope they make the combat really solid, but i feeeeeel they wont, i have no faith in modern devs, particularly western ones

this may sound like a crack opinion but game ips need to have an expiration date, sayyy 10 years, after 10 years or so you cant make anymore games for that ip, maybe 15 years at most dunno, and if some shitty dev wants to make a sequel as they usually do then it would need to be a spiritual ip, that way, if it flops it doesnt tarnish the legacy, and if it proves to be an actual good game then it the start of a new series, showing that it was able to stand on its own merits and not by stealing a name and pretending to be something its not

devs lost the plot when they tried making games be like movies rather than games, nothing wrong with wanting a game to have great cutscenes, but it detracts from it a lot, same way a movie that tried to be more game would suck
