I wrote a post on Reddit the other day, and one guy came in to call me a fat ugly whore, and I laughed and clicked block and immediately forgot.

But then another guy came in and accused me of writing the post with ChatGPT and I was more offended than I've ever been in my life.

I think we on the left really underutilize social embarrassment as a political tool. Being right wing is and should be embarrassing, especially now. They already lie about it on dating apps and duck around politics in conversation. They're already kinda embarrassed. That's why they're so mad.

Honestly, the fact that the protests have been as peaceful as they have been is a remarkable testament to the protesters and organizers' commitment to nonviolence. The amount of rage they must be feeling is overwhelming. That country is armed to the teeth and constantly being brutalized and harassed. Yet the restraint is commendable.

In retrospect, I think a lot of the shock and rage we saw after Charlie Kirk's death was not in spite of, but BECAUSE he was a cruel white man.

A lot of cruel white men thought they were exempt from violence by virtue of their whiteness and entitled to forgiveness by virtue of their maleness.

You can't even stop a car by firing a gun into it. That's not how momentum works.

You can tell she wasn't driving at anyone because the car continued to drive for like half a block in completely the opposite direction.

I had a hellish flu last week, and I coughed painfully if I laughed, so I watched only serious movies to pass the time.

So I finally watched, "There will Be Blood" for the first time sick as a dog and, friends, it failed to cheer me up.
