I’m Noor, & I am a first-year medical student. Together with my sis @joynewacc@mastodon.social am doing everything I can to claim my right to education and continue my journey in medical school.
, the devastating post-war conditions are making this path incredibly difficult, almost breaking me before I can reach my goal.

I have managed to gather most of my second semester tuition fees. I only have $300 left to be able to pay the full amount for this term.

I woke up today studying, feeling very lucky & so happy bc I was able to study the major I dreamed of. Finally, I’m on my way to becoming a doctor.
But unfortunately, I face great difficulty studying online instead of in-person, as I am truly struggling to understand & analyze the information. However, I’m sure that perhaps the situation’ll change, & I’ll be able to complete my studies abroad someday

On Thursday, I received my graduation result from high school (Tawjihi/General Secondary Education Certificate), and I achieved 95.3%.
This is the average that I aspired to reach after two years of studying under bombing, destruction, displacement, and the loss of all my loved ones.

Today, I dedicate myself to my dream and my studies in the College of Medicine to become a doctor, as I wish and as I have always wished
