True, but for some reason there are a bunch of people who shutdown their PC every time they’re done using it and unless your using a laptop, I have never understood that. Screen lock + monitor sleep is the way.

Unfortunately with the US EV incentives gone the Slate is way overpriced for what it is. 150 mile range and manual crank windows and no radio or speakers at all on the base model for $28K. I can understand wanting a low tech vehicle but I think they might have gone a step too far.

But why does the HDMI fourm not want a open source 2.1-compliant implementation? Is it DRM related? I feel like it’s DRM related.
