finally got around to watching Good Boy, the dog perspective horror. not overly enamoured with it tbh. the concept works great it's just that all the other horror elements have no imagination. there are a couple of nice scares but that's it. it's fine overall but almost outstays its welcome at 70-something minutes. would've been better as a VHS segment to be totally honest

I swear I gave Wuthering Heights a chance but fucking hell, it's appalling. a few highlights early on but it descends into a soulless slog. Robbie and Elordi are terrible and Martin Clunes acts everyone off the screen to such an extent that it only highlights how much better every else could be doing

plans got cancelled so went to go see, 100 Nights of Hero because it was on and the trailer is great. loved it!! I think it's going to grate on some people but I'm a big fan tbh. something different, delightful, and small but not too small for the fantasy genre!

Primate is very fun! could've been better - the thankfully minimal buildup stuff is boring and I wish they'd turn the light on at least once or twice - but practical effects rule and it's genuinely thrilling and tense! a little funny at times but actually less than you'd think, which ends up working well. horror films forever 🙌
