The Fediverse is the antithesis of that; hence the move to more controlled (corporate-run) spaces like GitHub. And why they give so much attention to a decentralized system would be a major question then if it wasn't already obvious from history what they're trying to accomplish -- what they always do, the Microsoft-patented strategy of EEE.

I liked the first episodes of Journal with Witch but not so much the later episodes. The romantic/drama shit is really not my cup of tea. Never has been and will likely never be.
Some of it I can stand, but when it's this much of it I really can't take it.
There's also the very blatant in-your-face social commentary bullshit--now that's really not something I enjoy having shoved in my face.
