Aseel Sehwel is a good friend of mine and she is trying to collect 500 USD to cover the needs of her family of six. Her father suffers from kidney problems and high blood pressure. To save money they are living in their house which is in dire conditions, without walls, and doesn't protect them from rain and cold. Yesterday Aseel published a new text in her blog (@aseelsehwel) in which she depicts the very hard moment she is going through. It is well written and heartbreaking as the other testimonies of living in Gaza she published in the past. Read it, it definitely worths your time.
And then make her a wish and a present, because today is her birthday. She needs us as all the people of Gaza because we are the only hope to survive the genocide perpetrated day after day against them by Israel.

@Aseelsehwel@mas.to no longer posts on Mastodon because she needs a pause, to take care of her depression and try to heal. But her family still needs help. They are living in an apartment without walls and don't have the means to fix it; they have no money even to buy food and the suspension of World Central Kitchen's operations puts make their situation unbearable. And now the war against Iran and everything getting more expensive in Gaza.
