Well… There would also have to be water to actually collect from the air. Thunderfoot made a really good video about these dehumidifiers when yet another one popped up on Kickstarter claiming to end water shortages.

It really is. I’ve seen at least a handful of these on Kickstarter before, and before Kickstarter was a thing I’m pretty sure I saw something about “revolutionary new technology” like this in a TV documentary.

I guess that depends on how your laws and courts function. Other countries don’t have juries like America does.

Because there exists evidence that makes these statistics unreliable.

I question whether that fear is based on something real or just the idea that it would happen. That same idea that makes the law harsher against men committing crimes than women.

We don’t know the actual statistics of what percentage of violent crimes and sexual assaults are committed by women. A lot of woman on man crime (domestic abuse, sexual assault) largely goes unreported when it happens, and hardly ever gets taken seriously when it does. So long as that is still an issue, that there exists some idea that only men do these things, or mostly do these things, or even get falsely accused of doing these things while being a victim, the statistics cannot be trusted. Feel free to downvote if it makes you feel righteous, or on “the winning side”.

The depressing part is I can’t tell if this is art or AI generated.

"We are a million dollar company" Doesn’t know the difference between “your” and “you’re”. Can’t pay for parental leave. Can’t pay for sick day benefits. Can’t give employees a decent wage to afford transport that doesn’t break down.

Yeah, I’ve noticed an uptic of AI generated content being posted outside the AI circle jerk subreddits. Places like the AoE4 and Bionicle subreddits have had quite a number of AI posts already. Theyve become too courageous, with others going out of the way to defend the use of generative AI with weak arguments like “but cars also steal jobs”. The one subreddit that I’ve seen have a healthy response against AI generated content is the Bionicle subreddit. Doesn’t really surprise me as the Bionicle community is full of creatives.

And haven’t even achieved AI yet. What we call “AI” is still nothing more than an upjumped calculator.
