🔹Multiple airstrikes, shelling, and gunfire resulting in casualties were reported across the Gaza Strip

🔹All crossings into Gaza except for Kerem Shalom remain closed. Medical evacuations are still on hold, and a limited number of commercial supplies have been permitted to enter.

🔹Three Palestinians were shot and killed by Israeli settlers in the West Bank on 7 March, marking six deaths as a result of settler violence since the beginning of 2026.

Thousands of people are being displaced in #Lebanon as violence spirals.

UNRWA has reopened emergency shelters in its facilities, where 1,300 people have so far sought a haven.

UNRWA teams are on site to provide somewhere to sleep, food parcels, other essentials, and support to the displaced Lebanese, Syrian, and #Palestine Refugee families arriving at our shelters.

🔹 In Gaza, the situation remains volatile. Since the ceasefire, 618 Palestinians have reportedly been killed amid ongoing airstrikes, shelling and gunfire.
🔹 Food insecurity risks are increasing as supplies dwindle. Some community kitchens serving displaced families have been forced to suspend operations, while UNRWA continues efforts to support livelihoods and reopen services, including the Sulafa Embroidery Centre in Gaza City.
🔹 In the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, movement restrictions have intensified amid the regional escalation.

Despite the sharp escalation in #Lebanon, UNRWA is managing to keep providing essential services to #Palestine Refugees - from getting medication to patients with chronic diseases to collecting garbage in camps.

RT: @DUALEBField .@UNRWA@mastox.eu reopened its main emergency shelter today, once again hosting displaced Lebanese, Syrian, and #Palestinerefugee families together. Inclusivity is a core humanitarian approach — especially in times of conflict and resource constraints.

Since 2 March 2025, UNRWA's aid supplies for #Gaza have been blocked by the Israeli authorities.

With crossings closing again, and then opening partially, access for all humanitarians remains highly uncertain and severely restricted.

Humanitarian supplies — including food, medicines, shelter materials and other essentials — for hundreds of thousands of people are waiting outside Gaza in UNRWA's warehouses, ready to be trucked in at a moment's notice.

Not allowing this in is a choice that only hurts people in Gaza, whose needs remain immense and are far from being met.

Despite these constraints, as the largest UN agency on the ground, UNRWA keeps doing its job across Gaza, including clean water, healthcare, and learning. We must be allowed to scale up.

Suleiman is just two years old.

At an UNRWA health centre in #Gaza, he receives physiotherapy to support his development.

Through regular sessions, he continues to access the care he needs.

Since Oct 2023, UNRWA has delivered over 172,000 physiotherapy sessions, reaching nearly 24,000 people — including more than 4,300 with war-related injuries.

“We draw, we shape the clay, we colour it, we laugh. Those are the best moments of my day,” says 14-year-old Rital, living in an UNRWA school-turned-shelter with her family in #Gaza.

Like the other 660,000 school-age children in the Gaza Strip, Rital’s childhood has been shaped by grief, repeated displacement and continued disruption of their education.

Through art-based self-expression, UNRWA counsellors begin to address the deep psychological impact of the war by inviting children to play, draw, and talk at their own pace.

In #Gaza, a UNRWA centre for visually impaired students has reopened.

56 students are back in class after months without school. UNRWA teams secured and adapted classrooms, provided materials and arranged transport to support the resumption of learning.

Teachers continue to organise activities using repaired Braille machines and handmade materials.

Learning must continue — even in the most challenging conditions.
