I will never understand why we insist on creating things outside of ourselves that are better. Why not work on ourselves and make ourselves better?

it seems impossible to convey a feeling through @Writing@mastodon.social to others without some kind of price tag or popularity contest? It's exhausting IMO. The constant wondering if I'm reaching the "right" people. Hoping for someone to "like" what I write...

sometimes I want to write without the constraint of bein grammatically correct. I want to write as my mind sends it to me. I want understanding, I want praise.
I say keep trying. It doesn't hurt anyone except yourself, and only if you allow it.
