They make a VITAL point: countries with expensive energy cannot compete on anything: not manufacturing, not services, not tech. (And, I'd argue, not socially nor environmentally.) Which means, to put it politely, they're screwed.
Aotearoa New Zealand: looking at us here and our ever-climbing energy costs, enabled by greed, short-termism and political expedience.
