🇺🇦 🇵🇸 Ngāmotu (ish) based "Crazy Cat Man" owned by a small army of cats 🐈🐈🐈🐈 who is currently on a break from working in InfoSec, spending time in my ~1 acre section trying to make food appear and making it a nice place for the long term. Sometimes I do radio stuff and take photos of the night sky. Former 🇬🇧 turned 🇳🇿. Post a fair bit of rambling nonsense interspersed with # cat pictures. @foxylad@mastodon.nz it's an interesting one because it seems to depend a lot on how it was installed, mostly if there was too much curvature/pull on the cabling it seems or things not quite crimped "perfectly".
That said, it's surprising they actually used the design they did for the 8+ single phase ones. The three phase ones had the "new" design already.
My installer told me on 11th Nov. which was before it was officially sent to customers, that was the day they got the email from sig about it.
It's also odd that your inverter hadn't been de-rated on export too, as that was the other thing Sig did right away (before they actually told people, which was a bit of a PR mess lol), or wasn't using the temp sensing they rolled out 🤔 can see mine de-rating as intended in the graph - my solar company is being a shit about getting his a into g about the replacement, the installer is a separate person. I should email him again... and maybe be a bit more grumpy (apparently he has the replacement...)
