I can get 2kW solar for 400€?!? Some seller even have 500w panels for 80€ Holy shit they become cheap. I wonder if I can do import-only setup on the roof of my residential building. As far I understand if you are not selling to the grid, you don’t have to get permission at all here?! Worst case it’s going to be balcony with about 6 hours of direct sunlight in the summer, but in summer that’s exact time when I need AC the most. And incidentally it’s rated for 2.5kW And 2kWh power station cost 600€, on par with good UPS. I can charge it at night, when electricity is 50% cheaper and use until sun starts to shine on this side On my bloody balcony. Given the price about 0.1€/kWh (first 250) during the day, panels need to generate 4000 kWh which is say 3000 sunny hours at full power with all the losses. Even with pessimistic 90 days of 6 hour sunlight it’s less than 5 years. Next 20 is just free energy!? Fucking whaaaaat

Feels a bit surreal to submit everything online, because you are running in circles to get all the papers and then click-click, type-type, attach dozen pdfs, tick checkbox that you agree that forgery will result in criminal charges, enter your card details, get submission confirmation letter in 10 minutes. It’s kinda scary that it’s THAT easy. Last time I had to sleep on the immigration office stairs to keep the queue and since I was only one who is fluent in local langue, being questioned by special forces patrol why the fuck there are like 20 people here while office is closed. Two days later guy twice as big as me, who jumped the queue to get straight to inspector’s window, tried to punch me in a face when I started loudly complaining. But me taking of my glasses was a strong signal that despite my size I’m crazy enough to get in a fight. And I was lucky, because earlier this day one woman was punched, supposedly by the same guy Immigration sucks. Ppeople who say immigrants are lazy are lucky enough to never had to get all the fucking papers when half of them expire in 30 days and simultaneously can take more than 30 days to obtain. Now my “what if I couldn’t get all the papers” anxiety is replaced with “what if my application is rejected” anxiety. Current waiting period for get a decision is about 70 days. Oh, I already have to pay taxes, hooray.

In my 20s I have concluded that I have not a single fucking thing in common with my “motherland” and just packed my shit and seen myself out.
