Do I have this right? Basically, Anthropic (Claude) was asked by the U.S. government to remove safeguards. They said no, knowing this refusal would hurt their business and blacklist them from all government contracts. Open AI (ChatGPT) was asked the same thing, happily agreed, then scrambled to do damage control on their public image by (probably) lying.

ChatGPT might be a lot more accessible and nice to use, but I think I'll be sticking to Claude from here on out.

I got a spam call earlier today, just after I'd merged staging into an older feature branch. When the scammer came on the line and asked me how I was doing, I told him I was dealing with merge conflicts. He asked what I meant by merge conflicts, so I started to explain. For some reason, he hung up on me.

"The developer has not yet indicated which accessibility features this app supports." It's almost like accessibility labels in Apple's App Store aren't really useful. Developers don't seem to be bothering with them at all, and I don't trust most developers to even know what good accessibility is. I hoped this feature would cause Apple's app reviewers to consider accessibility more, or would make it harder to submit inaccessible apps, or would automate accessibility audits, or something.
