Honestly, as much as I like the idea of nuclear, it’s too late for it to save us. I still believe it can/will be an important and valuable part of our future energy mix as stable, baseline power production, it is just so damn slow to get new plants up and running. And stuff like SMRs that hopefully will not have as bad of lead times are not quite there yet either.
