Yeah, that’s where the kinda comes in. From experience, when you’ve got that much debt you tend to lowkey want to watch the world burn, so you’ve got that going too.

Kinda related: At some point I realized inflation is actually kinda good when you have no assets and large debt, because it effectively shrinks your debt. Somehow my boss at my last job added a page break that didn’t show up when I turned on show hidden characters. It took me about six hours to figure out how to remove the final blank page. Online help forums were useless because he did it in such an unusual way. Looking back, even _I_ think that _surely_ I must have been mistaken because it’s too absurd that it would be that hard to delete a page, but I vividly remember turning on the hidden characters and getting nowhere.

Have you seen Wake Up Dead Man? Had a really intriguing take on reconciling atheists and theists in a way I found very valuable.

To be honest I just don’t want to google to get more money. They suck. Also your use case is very specific. The people I was referencing have more basic needs that would be easily bypassed with ublock. It’s fine if the way you like to listen to music is best served by youtube with a subscription.

I’m often surprised when I hear how other people live. Conversation at work will go like: Employee A: “Youtube ads are getting ridiculous.” Me: “You still see Youtube ads?” Employee B: “Yeah, just get Youtube Premium. Such a smart investment.” Me: “Wait, what?!” Several of my millennial friends have cable TV and Tivo or something just because they are creatures of habit and are too tired from raising kids to consider changing their process. Weirdly, my boomer parents are the most tech savvy media consumers I know. They just have terrible taste.

For me I just want a fast forward button. They have something they call fast forward, but it seeks instead.
