Claude (Sonnet 4.6) continues to impress me...
I gave it a rather complicated task - make one of my honeypots installable from PyPi. This is far from trivial, because normally you install from there either modules or stand-alone executables - while my honeypot has directories for data, config files, documentation, etc.
The experience is just like working with a human - to the point that I started saying "please" and "thanks" instead of just issuing instructions. It is neither "here's the task; do it; done", nor "here's a detailed description; I got complete non-working buggy bullshit as a result".
We discuss various approaches, pass ideas back and forth. It knows things I don't; I know things it doesn't. Sometimes it misunderstands me, sometimes I misunderstand it and clarification is needed.
We're currently at version 17 of the project and it is far from over. I don't know if the end result will be acceptable but the process is certainly pleasant. The two of us can do more than I can do alone and I don't have to waste another person's time with stupid questions or to dig in millions of pages returned by Google.
