How can we simply let #Tennessee gov'r & other leaders deny fed'l funds for HIV prevention that helps queer people. It is nasty, it is targeted, and it will kill people. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2023/01/26/tennessee-federal-hiv-funding/

Imagine being an #LGBTQ employee at HarperCollins, maybe a dream job in #publishing, already dealing with wage issues and your (necessary) union walk out, and then an imprint/editor brags about acquiring the project of a man who popularized Don't Say Gay, for I'm sure millions of dollars. I'm really sorry for those employees.

I’m just an editor, looking at a new platform, wondering if #aupresses folk, scholars in fields incl but not limited to #bookstudies, #printculture, #lgbtq studies/activism, African American studies, #americanstudies, #EnvironmentalStudies, #environmentalhistory, and other fields in which UMass Press publishes are… here somewhere?
