Danke für Deine regelmäßigen Updates!
Speziell hierzu: Es gab schon immer auch aus der Community starke Kritik an den Reduktionspfaden, die viel zu viel CCS eingepreist haben. Es gilt seit jeher: wir müssen so schnell und so weitgehend von den Emissionen runter wie nur möglich. Das scheint den meisten in dieser Dringlichkeit immer noch nicht bewusst zu sein.

Die Woche geht gut zu Ende. Die 4 Astronaut*innen haben die Landung sicher überstanden (bin sehr erleichtert) und Orbán wurde abgewählt (bin sehr erleichtert und freue mich für die Ungar*innen). Kann so weiter gehen.

Meine Tochter steht total auf Anime und ganz besonders auf Haikyu!! . Leider hat sie niemanden in ihrem Alter und Umfeld mit dem*der sie diese Begeisterung und Fandom teilen kann. Da sie mit 13 noch nicht auf Social Media aktiv ist, habe ich ihr versprochen, mich hier mal umzuhören. Vielleicht kennt ja hier wer jemandem im passenden Alter und entsprechendem Interesse. Zotero läuft jetzt bei mir und meine eigenen Publikationen sind schonmal drin.
Ich werde jetzt einige Zeit +1 fahren müssen, um die Library Stück für Stück aufzubauen. Es ist einfach wahnsinnig viel Arbeit, die Datenbank zu wechseln, wenn man schon so lang dabei ist wie ich.
Aber der Anfang ist gemacht.

@hnnng Jetzt muss ich ja doch nach einer neuen Literaturdatenbank schauen. Bin vor langer Zeit auf Mendeley gewechselt, weil ich von EndNote weg wollte und die Software damals frei war. Ich wusste zwar, dass Mendeley inzwischen gekauft wurde, aber nicht, dass es Elsevier war. Und nicht, dass der Konzern mit den Daten handelt.
Seufz, es ist soviel Arbeit, die Literaturdatenbank zu wechseln.
Aber erstmal: hat jemand hier einen Vorschlag für eine gut open source Alternative?

Das soll Lise Meitner sein. Mit KI erstelltes Bild. Es ist Teil einer Reihe von KI generierten Bildern, die Wissenschaftlerinnen sichtbar machen soll und im @bmftr_bund@social.bund.de hängt.
Die hat historisch verzerrte, an patriarchale Schönheitsideale angepasste Bilder generiert. So will ich Lise Meitner sicher nicht erinnern. Ich möchte auch nicht, dass andere Frauen so verstellt werden. Das erweist #MINT #Frauen einen Bärendienst.

Was wir gerade beobachten ist nicht Unfähigkeit, sondern der beginnende, knallharte Verteilungskampf im Angesicht der #Klimakrise Die Konservativen betreiben Verteilung von unten nach oben. In Krisen werden Reiche reicher und Arme ärmer. Dass die CDU das betreibt, sollte nicht überraschen. Wir sollten jetzt massiv auf die Straße gehen und protestieren, bald ist es dafür zu spät.
