it still makes me sad that twitter is a bad place now. it used to be a good place, and the world would be better overall if it was still a good place.

@NNN@urbanists.social @mclean.bsky.social I own a dozen different kinds of batteries. Every single one of them will (correctly) refuse to charge when the battery is too cold. Most of them will automatically start charging once it's warm enough, though some cheaper ones require you to unplug the battery and plug it back in to start charging.

Basically, any BMS on any bike I've bought in the past 3 years does exactly what you say here.

@AtanasE@mastodon.social @crschmidt.net I mean, I feel like the words "at the moment" communicate a more accurate meaning than "for now". "For now" implies more of an assessment of the future status; "at the moment" implies a point in time assessment.

The reality is that for the type of content I like to engage in, Bluesky provides a better user experience, so I expect it will remain a key part of where I engage regardless of where everyone else goes.

There has been a significant shift in people to Bluesky in the past few weeks. Because I am 100% the type of person who uses social media for the dopamine hit that I get from posting there, regardless of how badly I feel about that from a rational perspective, I expect that this will result in me posting more there.
