To make my position super clear, I don't believe that there is ever an excuse to attack another person, people, or country. Sure, defence is necessary because there are people who do want to attack... but as a general rule this is all just dick waving from so called leaders that causes absolute chaos, suffering, and loss of life for the general public - both now and in the future.
However, I will deal with this by using gallows humour, black comedy, and terrible social media posts.

When I see pictures like this, I struggle to take them as anything other than satire. Would I greave the passing of any of the British government, even at the hands of a foreign state? Nope.
I guess the only equivalent would be the laying of flowers for Diana and the late Queen - which I also didn't really understand but there we go.
