@wtrmt@mastodon.social Yeah, Ezra is... not my favorite. I think he's bought into the AI hype, but he asks the right questions, but it also seemed like the interviewee had the questions up front. Idk. I wish he'd have gone a bit harder on policy stuff. I'd grade it medium-soft, but I think that's also the "vibe" of his 1hr slow conversation show format. I probably prefer medium-hard (respectful but firm) interviews, but I do think this one is worth watching.

I watched the Ezra Klien interview with Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark yesterday. I'm bringing it up here (on the anti-AI site) because I think it's worth your time to see/hear how the people making it think/feel/talk about it.

TBH, I go back and forth on whether I trust Anthropic. They seem concerned with security of the models (good), but also seem overly-comfortable setting the capitalism steamroller to max and flattening labor and competition (bad).
