Got an IRC server setup using InspIRCd pretty easily enough.

And I started self hosting a small phpbb server to scratch the forum itch for myself ... I kind of want to go old school with @couchbot@retro.pizza haha.

Just saw 2/3rds of all US gold medals were won by women this year.

Also something like 2/3rds of TOTAL medals won this year was by women.

This is the 6th consecutive Olympics that they've done it.

That's why they get to party in Vegas and not sit and each cold McDonalds baby! WOOO!

That was rough …

Spent like an hour in WoW Midnight with the wife tonight. We made it to Silvermoon City. The crafting order system looks neat - though I suspect I won't do much with it.

Was having a pretty rough mental night - but spending time with her was great. Now that she's gone to bed, Ill focus on some @couchbot@retro.pizza stuff before passing out.

I've been a Penny stan for the past 10 years - but maybe I'll marry Sandy when the update drops?!

Currently, I'm hosting 3 VPS via OVH and host my business stuff in an Office 365 Tenant.

I'd like to cut the cord from the big cloud companies as much as possible .. and move towards better options.

I'd need ..

- Server Hosting for a few websites.
- Hosting a handful of .NET Core apps, APIs, and services.
- Email (Proton gets suggested a lot)

And seeing the LibreOffice stuff .. I think that'll be something I can selfhost on my homelab.

For the first 3 points - I'd want to host them externally .. as I don't want my home internet to be a point of failure (though .. the fiber has never dropped *fingers crossed*)

Any recommends? OVH hasnt caused any real issues, but curious what others are using .. and wondering if Proton is a better email service (1 custom domain) than O365.

Wife and I are going to start streaming #WorldOfWarcraft on a channel we created called Adventuring in Azeroth.

We'll be streaming #WoW Classic The Burning Crusade on Wednesday nights at 8pm CST in a series called Doing It For The Lore - where we create new characters, read the quest text, and learn what makes each zone different.

On Friday and Saturday nights, 8pm CST, we'll be tackling WoW: Midnight and everything new it has to offer. First, we'll be working through all the new content. Then we'll start learning how to do dungeons, delves, and maybe even raids?!
