My machine makes strange booping sounds. Spend 5 minutes searching for the platform that has a notification - email accounts, social media, messaging apps. Notice a signal message received yesterday and reply to that. Don't find the original booping app.

@amcewen@mastodon.me.uk it was good I wore a top hat and danced....not. But it was good. I've been passing on network connections to people who attended. The audience were really keen. I loved Tom's visualisation of financial transactions across Merseyside local authorities. The never ending saga of the parcel in Chile... hope it ends soon.

@amcewen@mastodon.me.uk was entertaining the crowds at the Festival of Data on Friday, during the Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas. As compere he wowed the audience with his dazzling light beam that not only counted down the time on the talks but also acted as a clapometer.
