"I don't understand why people in this political and ethical movement related to software development and consumption have strong opinions about the politics and ethics of a bunch of software development tools" is an incredibly nuclear level take that boggles the mind

If your FLOSS project self-hosts its issue tracker, may I recommend implementing a rule that redirects any referral coming from reddit to: https://www.myinstants.com/en/instant/fart-with-extra-reverb-63068/

Nothing makes a case for closed source development practices like free and open source software users

To be honest, it's quite shocking just how bad GitHub Actions are as a flagship product; completely opaque, zero debugging or logging, documentation is a toss up between "terse to the point of uselessness" and "LLM-enhanced word vomit". To cap it off, the GitHub documentation itself is so bad it's not even funny.
I didn't know it could happen, but they made me pine for GitLab's CI pipelines, and those are pretty terrible.

Whoever came up with GitHub actions should be tarred and feathered.
