Then again, I haven't had the time to play Death By Scrolling lately. I've been more into Return to Dark Castle. It's the nostalgic kind of non-relaxing for me.

At least that one has the "stump joke". The first time I played MI2 I had only played the VGA CD version so the "stump joke" joke went right over my head.
The Special Edition is technically impressive, and I can see the love that must have gone into it. But to me it feels a bit awkward. Haven't played it since it was released, though.

Unfortunately the Easter egg doesn't yet work in ScummVM. Much of the work has been done, but there's currently no easy way to even detect the Mac version of Maniac Mansion.

The JIGS-UP routine doesn't kill the player, it kills the current actor. That's a feature. But when a timer routine is run, it doesn't change the current actor back to the player.
So simply by talking to the robot, I can save myself from death by timed event.
I had hoped to use this on the Wizard, but apparently his action routine terminates too early. That too may be a bug, but one that cancels the first one.

I know there are plenty of places where you can find them, but I'd prefer if there were official re-releases. (I'd also like it if some of the current re-releases weren't quite so shoddily made.)
