Gotta get out and walk more this week.
Doing the things that are good for you seems to be a common challenge for us homosapiens. Our brains engage in all manner of deception and distraction.
I am very lucky, I have the freedom to allocate my time more than most. I work for myself and work from home. It's really just a matter of priorities. The hurdles before me are rather trivial really. An aversion to other people for example. I don't live next door to a national park or anything. An aversion to exercise too. I love the feeling of being lazy and comfy. An aversion to overachieving is my latest thing too. I'm not trying to be amazingly successful or make a shit tonne of money.
I mostly want yummy baked goods or immerse myself in nature. If I can do both at the same time, amazing!
My body needs to be active though. Motion is lotion. I need to stretch and push and resist. It's all downhill without regular effort. I've been recovering from this flu for weeks now and allowing myself to be a lazy lump of lard. Well, it's time to change all that and start being a semi-active lump of lard.
