To the latter part of your reply: I don’t think that framework being early, or ready before others, is *any* kind of meaningful signal. It simply means someone had a good admin process at hand, nothing more than that.

I get what it can be like to source funding for foss/public infra work. and I don’t begrudge you finding that for this (good!) project.
but Framework is no bueno these days, and I struggle to see their engagement on this as anything other than image management
