tbh wireless VR headsets suck. when i was on the PSVR1 (absolute abomination of a headset) i'd sometimes play skyrim vr for like six hours at a time. it was like a second world. with the quest 3 that's literally impossible. you're empty after 2 hours.

if you're doing active VR, then yeah managing wires is a pain in the ass and you're probably not going to be doing more than 2 hours of beat saber anyway, but for less active VR you really feel the difference

regardless of your feelings on highguard, this is a *terrible* sign for the industry. the game wasn't even a complete flop like concord. a lot of people did actually really like it - myself included. and even with the development team fired, it had an entire year worth of content apparently already finished

but because it wasn't an immediate, massive success, it's getting shuttered... less than two weeks after the largest content drop in the game's history
