None of this is okay.

Our WoW guild leader pulled a VERY late nighter to get to level 90. It is her thing with each new expansion but this time around no one else was racing her. It is definitely not my thing, I did a lot of side questing in the city because it is just so preeetty. Hoping to get my mage to at least 82 so I can train my portal to Silvermoon.

With WoW tmogs now tied to slots not to gear, I'm finally willing to tmog all of my characters. They all look fabulous.

Those of you who do TTRPGs, what is the current state of Roll20s built in voice chat? We use Discord for our remote games, but sadly what we're seeing from that app is a mess and we need to find a replacement. I'm dealing with some less tech-friendly people who have to be told how to fix their display names every single time we start a new campaign, so it needs to be easy and work well with built in phone or computer mics. I'm GMing, don't need to tech support too. #ttrpg #roll20 #dnd5e

I tend to be a pack rat in games. Been playing Minecraft and the amount of time it takes me to offload all of the duplicate things into overflow chests is just silly. But I keep doing it because I might find a use for that stuff somehow.

I've been watching Star Trek Star Fleet Academy and I have to say it is a lot more nuanced than I expected it to be. I just watched the episode that was from the POV of the photonic character SAM and it was surprisingly deep.

I wonder what disruptive new tech will come as a result of data centers taking all the computer parts and humans not getting their next new gaming PC? Will it be awesome, will it take a long time? Or will the data centers crash hard and we'll all get our next video card during a fire sale because the manufacturers have no other market anymore? Taking bets. :)

Ugh! Why does everyone who says they are all about privacy still take advantage of targeting content to people based on what they type in social sites? I've never mentioned Tuta before today and yet they are now in my Masto trending feed...

I've wanted to get one of my custom domains away from using Outlook ever since they started showing me ads at the top of my Inbox, but picking an alternative provider to use with the domain is a mess of opinions. Anyone of my followers use Tuta? I'd rather not use Proton, there are a few things that are squishy about them and politics, so...

Looks like it might be time to try out Roll20s built in voice chat for our remote DnD groups. We've been using Discord and I'm just not sure how secure or ethical their practices are. I'm not part of any non-teen friendly servers, but just the concept that they are asking for face or id scans bothers me.
