The recent #Devonthink release (4.2.1) allows to display #PDF files with light background, when running in dark mode with a hidden preference (#macOS26 required) —
$ defaults write com.devon-technologies.think DisablePDFDarkMode -bool TRUE

@gregoa_@chaos.social I have varying success with the html version; sometimes it works, sometimes not, I guess depending on the mail editor used to send the e.g., invite adding hard line breaks in links or not or if links are <a href = …> embedded </a> in html or written out? I would guess the former would work better (the html tags providing guidance about where the link starts and ends) than the latter.

@gregoa_@chaos.social Oh thank!💡I just checked that with my emulator #iTerm2 and with a modifier key I can also click links. Amazing! Except that I cannot handle those massive multi-line links (that the university IT creates running the embedded links through some kind of anti-phishing checker *sigh*). Because of the hard line breaks instead of soft wrapping in mutt, the links terminate after the first line.

After some testing #urlscan is the better alternative to #urlview to extract and access URLs in email messages with #mutt. No broken links to the ever increasing number of invites, calendar files and access links. Install via #homebrew on #macos or using #pip on #linux : https://github.com/firecat53/urlscan

Peu a changé

#velomtl
