I’m looking for some advice: What’s the best protocol to use for sharing files on a Linux box with Macs? (I’m thinking of using the Finder, rather than something like rsync)
I’ve been told AFP is no longer well supported by Macs, but that SMB can also cause issues.

Brief shoutout to a thing which is common in UK suburbs but seems rare in Canadian ones, and that is public footpaths connecting cul-de-sacs.
The difference these make to a walkable suburb versus one which makes you take long detours on foot is really underrated.

I don't know about you, but I've been pretty vocal about not having a holiday between new year and Easter. Some years thats almost a third of a year without a day off.
