Yeah, they are huge bottles sold individually...great for pouring a reasonable amount for many people. Not as great for 1 person drinking it, unless you drink way too much, it will go flat before you can finish it. Never seen a 1.5l bottle before searching it now, that looks like something some one could easily carry with them to have soda all day long!

Soda bottles in the us shows both ounces and milititers. Large bottles are sold as "2 liter soda"...that's it. Smaller bottles are in ounces (with the metric label just a requirement I guess - no one I know here talks about buying a 500ml soda) Everything else is ounces or gallons, I'm sure someone will 'umm actually' me...but generally nothing else is metric; like milk and juice.

Yeah, syncing with default settings is a bad idea for backup, but it’s better than nothing. A more robust set up, while not foolproof, is to set history to keep all copies for 30 days, not a fixed amount of files. It’s also important to enable conflict detection so if the file was changed on two devices in between sync it keeps both copies (and cross-syncs them).

I say go for it, learn all the pitfalls and how you like it setup and when its time to upgrade next year maybe Motorola will have released/announced something that supports graphene by then. If support ends before Motorola releases a phone, either switch back, find a used pixel somewhere or try something else.

I like to think that if streaming didn’t take over, the industry would have shifted to selling USB sticks with the media/game. Even if they did something goofy to “lock” it, at least being on a thumb drive would be more durable, compact, and have faster read time. Imagine a nicely organized self of DvDs turned into nighmare pile of flash drives of different shapes and sizes as each movie tries to make theirs stand out to make up the lack of a cover.

People bought into the marketing hype pre-2020, and it was pretty much the only viable full EV in North America due to the charge network. A lot of people got them with good intentions for the environment. Most people take out loans to buy new cars. When you sell or scrap a car the loan doesn’t go away. If you have 30k left on a loan, scrap the car for 10k - you’ll be left with a 20k loan and no car. Regardless of a car’s financial worth, having a functional car is worth a lot more. What your asking people to do is about as financially crazy as if someone told you to sell your car for $500, spend a thousand into maintance, and then go to buy a new one the leftover cash. In other words - blow your a sizable chunk of your own money because the owner of the car is a shit person. Who does that help? Musk already got his money, reselling the car does jack shit to him and completely fucks over the seller.

I saw/heard an interesting take from a YouTube the other day. They argued that forks are killing Firefox. Everyone using a fork doesn’t get counted in firefox’s numbers, they don’t see all the Linux user or people turning off AI features because we turned telemetry off. They only see the telemetry of the windows users that use the AI features everyday. On one hand fuck Firefox’s current direction and the forks are great. On the other hand, maybe we should all use Firefox for some casual stuff just to keep the numbers up.

And the fix is a firmware update not a total recall? So its either buggy overcomplicated software or the update tweaked things to reduce the power draw so you got less machine power than what you were advertised.
