• at the moment I’m reading A Climate of Truth, the most recent book by Mike Berners-Lee. I recommend his earlier books too.
• the This is How it Ends series on The Press YouTube channel (I’m currently in the middle of watching these eps: https://youtube.com/watch?v=0KKuXwuIs8k)
I have other books about climate in “to read” pile, but some are a bit more than I can manage.
Can I ask for recommendations from other folks too? Some I’ll have already read/watched/listened to, but there’s bound to be good stuff I haven’t found yet.

This young miss walked in like the queen she’d always been. She was pleased with all she now owned before she’d even surveyed it. As for us, she’d known us long before we met, & we were deemed suitable, sniff.
Also she is sooo tiny! Cooper used to weigh 6kg, while this lass weighs 3.whatever.kg, I can’t remember her weight. She takes up next to no space & she fits into all sorts of places.

@jsr It’s irritating now that when I go to use what was formerly known as my Music app that I then have to click to “library” to listen to songs buried therein. I often forget, then have to run my search over again, since it’s showing me songs from Apple Music.
I’m considering looking for another app, preferably one that’ll play ALAC songs without me needing to reload them from scratch.
Edit: It’s a nuisance that every single time I open the app I’m met with an ad.

@essjax @pablo 100% feel the same. I jumped the day the Twitter board announced they had accepted his offer. Now it seems unrecognisable.
I’d made friends there who were very dear to me who aren’t active on here, or on Bluesky.
I feel lucky to have met a whole bunch of lovely people here, some of whom I’d never crossed paths with on Twitter.
And I like it here very much, I appreciate the pace & I know it’s healthier for me.
But I still miss those who I lost in all of this.
