@shuro @Lemonid @sudo_sh а вот с воровством велосипедов у нас полный порядок: воруют! причём периодически слышу об этом от разных знакомых, у которых в очередной раз украли велик с "охраняемой" парковки около разных учреждений и компаний. и из подъездов воруют, даже если они закрыты и есть домофон. так что тут ничего не изменилось.
насчёт воровства самих этих мотоциклов - не знаю, есть ли такие случаи. наверное, технически это уже сложнее, чем спиздить велик. но варежки не воруют.

подумала, что в принципе это должно быть удобно.
может, их даже снабдили варежками сами компании. пока доставщики доставляют товар, мотоциклы стоят без владельцев, никто варежки не пиздит. нахер они нужны?

@Mastodon for a while I have only one feedback: your new web design is so broken that it does not work in most browsers. seems it does not show anything without webasm which is malware by definition. at least, it seems so from errors. but it shows just nothing, empty web page. so you're not accessible from the outer world anymore in browsers that don't break system security, only via JSON requests.

@n0icz @mrclon однажды я на даче паяла мелкую электронику. так вышло, что понадобилось. а там был только стоваттный паяльник размером с конский... эмм.. хвост.
но я придумала хинт: примотала к этому конскому паяльнику цыганскую иглу стальной проволокой. прикрутила к ручке кронштейн, чтобы его было удобнее держать ближе к точке пайки. и получился довольно неплохой DIY паяльник для электроники, из говна и палок.

но судя по точкам, там лазерная пайка. мелким паяльником можно сделать, но нужна некоторая сноровка.

also thought about this point recently. sometimes user has account for 20+ years and they demand "age verifiction".
I don't use Apple devices, but the scam with age verification spreads like cancer and as a system programmer I see the total madness of idea that "operating system should support age verification". this is the sickest proposal I've ever met in my whole long career in programming.
and credit cards are not just credit cards. it must be a credit card accepted by USA banks. and the past years all credit cards I have just cannot be used for payments in USA. this is not my fault. so this is a much worse method sometimes than just a credit score.
I must add that free software does not have all these problems. so I used to use FOSS for decades.

@coaxial ну, если бы была в этом потребность, можно было бы легко всё это вспомнить.
однажды по работе мне потребовалось решить интегральное уравнение и всё достаточно легко вспомнилось. просто когда нет потребности и нет практики, такие знания уходят куда-то в глубины памяти. извлечь из можно, но потребуется некоторое время и усилия.

@rf @wthinker @Lemonid это, может, разве что тор кушает. но тор вообще кушает хорошо, у него такая архитектура. он у меня даже на десктопе запускается с ограничением по CPU, потому что иначе жрёт ресурсы как не в себя.
его можно урезать в потреблении ресурсов. для мессенджера хватит, а левый транзитный трафик будет ходить меньше.

@rf @Lemonid из плюсов - децентрализованный, безопасный, может работать через tor. из минусов - нет всякой попсни типа расшаривания постов между несколькими клиентами (мне это никогда не было нужно), нет отложенной доставки, если мессенджер не в онлайне, потому что нет централизации.

@pechorin я не понимаю, как люди печатают на этих обломках клавиатуры. я спокойно печатаю на обычной 105-клавишной механике и не испытываю с этим проблем. печатаю не глядя на клаву, на многих языках. но для программиста главное не быстрая печать, поэтому особо на скорость не тренировалась. хотя печатаю очень быстро, потому что пишу тексты здесь, например.
из плюсов: на нормальной клавиатуре можно печатать одной рукой. в другой руке может быть чашка чая или ещё что-то.

@pechorin я беру механику, потому что всё другое тупо ломается через полгода максимум. а механические клавы у меня некоторые живы ещё с 90-х годов. им ничего не делается даже если долбить по ним достаточно интенсивно.
к ноуту сейчас тоже примотана механика. родная клава ноута сдохла давно. некоторые кнопки просто перестали реагировать на нажатия, а некоторые стали выдавать несколько сигналов на одно нажатие.
а механика живёт уже долго. правда, стёрлись буквы на кнопках. клавиатура с подсветкой и буквы процарапаны на тёмном фоне. и вот этот тёмный фон вокруг некоторых часто используемых кнопок тупо стёрся и вместо букв теперь такие бесформенные светящиеся пятна. можно. наверное, подкрасить каким-ниюудь перманентным маркером, но пока и так норм.

@pechorin это не проблема. во-первых, не все посты в Федивёрсе распространяются мгновенно. иногда из-за каких-то сетевых заглюков посты могут задерживаться и потом внезапно доставляться через несколько дней. иногда вдруг всплывают какие-то старые посты, которые снова начинают обсуждать. так что срок давности тут не имеет особого значения. информация - это не шаверма, она не обязана быть прямо первой свежести. есть вещи, которые просто вечные и их можно обсуждать и сейчас, и через сто лет.
вообще, из-за структуры Федивёрса и разнородности платформ не все юзеры видят все ответы в обсуждениях. и это тоже не такая уж ужасная проблема. люди подписываются на тех, кого они могут читать на своём сервере. но обсуждения могут включать других участников, и посты не всегда доставляются всем, кто участвует в обсуждении. это особенность протокола AP, он технически очень сырой и каждый суслик - агроном и придумывает свои детали реализации. отсюда все эти несовместимости. однако, это не мешает миллионам юзеров успешно использовать Федивёрс.

@n0icz ну, у меня разные рептилии живут уже много лет. сейчас у меня со мной живут йеменский хамелеон, бородатая агама и две сухопутные черепахи. одна азиатская, а вторая, похоже, техасский гофер, но это не точно. потому что эта черепаха была взята из зоомагазина уже взрослой, она похожа на среднеазиатскую, но по размерам значительно меньше среднеазиатской и её точный вид не определён.
а так у меня жили игуана, разные ящерицы, агамы и хамелеоны.
