Though Scribus is a little hard to love tbh. Also try Olive 0.2, I don't think it's ready for prod but it's really neat

@tbernard@mastodon.social Agreed with a caveat. Broken or not, depends on what the user wants. If what the user wants is to build a UI for himself, then a scriptable/themeable UI is not really broken.

We use a custom GtkTextView for something similar in GTG. It's not easy but it's doable, and probably safer than a web view

So freedom of thought and speech is BS? Freedom is the whole foundation of **free** software. Policed opinions and self-censorship as you cancel people are trying to install are the complete opposite of FOSS.

Disgusting. I don't agree with his opinions but he should be allowed to have them like anyone else. You want to cancel and get him kicked out of the foundation *he started* just because you don't like his opinions?
