I started a new Harandir Druid and i am pleasantly surprised to see my 25 percent from the last expac is intact till 80? I had expected blizzard would have removed it.

There are a LOT of things wrong with AI but i wish people would cut the lady some slack. She got hit by a compaction issue. This could happen to literally anyone.

This is no better than you nailing the Git backup every single time and then that one time ....

My server's hdd crashed and splintered. I lost my server. Thankfully i had a few weeks old copy sitting around on a backup vm so i was able to get it up and running again.

A month with cachy os. Safe to say i am finally away from windows for most things

Ai has made people so stupid. I know a moron that went and bought a 600 dollar multi tb drive.

Gitea on a standard 4 tb drive is all you need for unlimited versioning.

Talking to @hiway@mastodon.social during the lockdown era lead me to developing a very strict love of going local. Since then i have invested greatly in bringing a lot of my services in house. Gitlab, mastodon server, matrix server, self hosted local models for embedding, for video transcript. Only thing i have permitted myself is cloudflare tunnels because my ISP unlike others does not have a fixed ip.

Mail is the only thing i farmed out to fastmail. Everything else is on a self-hosted DNS server too.

A month on a handcrafted Arch install.

I now boot into windows only for games.

I have come along nicely as an amateur.
