Went on my first dinghy ride of the year yesterday now that the ice in the channel is finally melting. Still can't quite get past Market Docks, but the channel is thawed up until there (with some large chunks breaking off and floating freely).

Did yoga at National Cathedral yesterday and realized how out of yoga shape I am. My legs and core were wrecked.

Beautiful setting, although very hot from the heated floor. My favorite part, seeing some of the cool gargoyles with icicles hanging from their mouths.

Good news DC, progress is finally being made on plowing roads and clearing sidewalks in SWDC. Still lots to do, but everything appears significantly more functional. Also, Metro is closer to running a normal schedule!

Went for a run around the Tidal Basin on the coldest day of the winter so far (22°F with a wind-chill of 11°) in DC.

Wearing snowboard goggles definitely helped with the wind. The Tidal Basin was like a magic land of tundra. I ran on the snice (snow + ice) because it had just enough traction and was smooth and solid. It was amazing.

I wish NPS would allow ice hockey 🏒 🤷‍♂️. Also, the Jefferson stairs are totally sled/ski/snowboardable right now 🤷‍♂️
